Google Pixel 9 & Pro: Storage and Charging Details
All three slab Pixel phones will start at 128GB of storage, with the two “Pro” models having 16GB of RAM, and the regular Pixel 9 having 12GB. On the Pixel 9, there will be 128GB and 256GB available. At the same time, the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL will come in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.

Storage Options:
- All three slab Pixel phones will start with a base storage of 128GB.
- The two Pro models will feature 16GB of RAM, while the regular Pixel 9 will have 12GB.
- Larger storage variants will also be available:
- Pixel 9: 128GB and 256GB options.
- Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB choices.
- Pixel 9 Pro Fold: 256GB and 512GB (India only gets the 256GB variant).
Charging Speeds:
- Google is increasing charging speeds for the Pixels.
- Using the new 45W USB-C fast charger, the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro will charge up to 55% in about 30 minutes.
- The Pixel 9 Pro XL will charge up to 70% in about 30 minutes using the same charger.
- While these speeds are an improvement, they still lag behind some competitors.
Battery Life:
- All three models promise 24 hours of battery life with up to 100 hours in Extreme Battery Saver mode.
- The Pixel 9 Pro Fold, with a 4650mAh battery, offers 72 hours in Extreme Battery Saver and still maintains 24 hours of overall battery life.
