Android 14 July security patch rolling out: What’s fixed for Pixel

Following last month's QPR3, today the July Android 14 security patch is rolling out to Pixel 5a, 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, 7 Pro, 7a, Tablet, Fold, 8, 8 Pro, and 8a. The update for the Pixel Watch was first released on Monday, but it was sooner than last month's delay.

The Android 14 July patch dated July 1, 2024 fixes 10 security issues, 19 of which were dated July 5, 2024. The vulnerabilities range from critical to severe. The Google device-specific bulletin lists four additional security fixes.

Today, the Android July 14th security patch is rolling out for the Pixel:

*[3] Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8, Pixel 8a

The Pixel 8 series has its own build .005, while everything else is running .004 this month. The Pixel 8, 8 Pro, and 8a have a separate build from Telus Australia.
