Samsung may unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 at its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10, 2024. These two upcoming foldable phones are expected to have an improved design with less noticeable creases on the screen.

Now we can see their designs in dummy device photos.

A closer look at the design of the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 doesn't look very different from their predecessors. Their design renders were revealed almost four months ago, but they can be seen again in dummy device images. These images were obtained from Sony Dickson and published by 9To5Google.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has rounded corners like its predecessor. It has dual cameras, a large cover display, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The screen creases on both dummy devices appear to be similar (or perhaps slightly less noticeable) to those on the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. These dummy devices may or may not feature the folding display of the retail devices Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. Both the phones are likely to be thinner and lighter than their predecessors.

As per previous leaks and reports, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage, while the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage. Both the devices will run Android 14 based One UI 6.1.1 software with Galaxy AI features.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is said to have a 50 MP main rear camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is likely to feature a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10 MP telephoto camera (3x optical zoom). Both phones are likely to feature a 10 MP selfie camera (4 MP on the inside screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 6).

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is said to have a 4,000 mAh battery while the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is said to have a 4,400 mAh battery. Both phones could feature GPS, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Both will have 25W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

Samsung is likely to promise its upcoming foldable smartphone seven years of Android OS and security updates. Both phones are likely to feature an IPX8 rating for water resistance
