New images of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 prototypes have surfaced, revealing more details about Samsung's foldable devices and the inner display crease.

The images of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 prototypes aren't new, and we've seen almost every angle available in previous leaks. They show off the entire device, detailing the new boxer design of both foldables and the changes to the camera array this time around.

has received more prototype images of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 via Sonny Dickson. The images show both the outer and inner displays of each device, but it looks like the 6th generation will still have a noticeable display crease.

The devices in the photos are prototypes or "dummy" devices, which essentially means that each one will undergo significant changes during the design process. The images could show displays with a larger seam down the middle than the final versions. Alternatively, Samsung could be putting older displays on these devices simply to show off the silhouette and overall profile of each phone. Still, users would like to see the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip bend less noticeably when opened 180 degrees.

The images also show black prototypes with "Samsung" loosely embossed on the hinges of both devices. Perhaps Samsung will do away with the etched logo seen on previous Fold and Flip devices, opting instead for an embossed logo similar to the image here. An etched logo is the recommended option, as it adds a premium feel to a $2,000 device.

Another possible small detail is the way the hinge protection plates jut out at the top and bottom of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It's very hard to see, and the lighting in these photos may be fooling our eyes, but it looks like the hinge is a few millimeters further away from the phone's main panel at the edge than in the center, where the logo is placed. The Flip 6 doesn't have that angle.

Aside from a few minor nitpicks, the prototypes show some design changes from Samsung: Each phone appears to have smaller bezels around the internal display, giving the overall footprint a slightly better look than last year's models.

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in Paris on July 10.
